The problem with the United Nations is that instead of being the guardian of peace and justice in the world, it has become instead an avatar of evil. Institutionally programmed to single out the State of Israel for systematic defamation, delegitimization and destruction, it has been captured by an agenda to destroy Israel because it represents the world. Most of the world is run by liberal universalists, Marxist dictatorships or Muslim regimes, which in various combinations hate Israel, the Jews and the West. So it wasn’t surprising that—as a result of the global strategy of terrorism, war and defamation launched by the Hamas-led atrocities on Oct. 7, 2023, as an all-out push to destroy Israel—157 countries voted at the United Nations to recognize Palestine.
Recognition, which, as the British government concedes, does not create a state of Palestine, is in effect a declaration of war against Israel by creating a fake diplomatic infrastructure to pressure the Jewish state, through both national and international bodies, to cut its own throat. British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and the French President Emmanuel Macron have done this partly to appease the ever-more powerful Muslim blocs in Britain and France, and partly to save their own skins from their political enemies.
